Our vision
There is no denying the magical bond that can be forged between humans and their dogs.
We want to free people from the frustration and anxiety that can come when your dog has you feeling out of your depth.
You can develop the skills you need to communicate clearly with your dog and help them be the very best version of themselves.
Our mission
We strive to provide top notch training, behavior, care, and canine education services to McHenry County, IL and beyond.
We want to help you find positive and practical training solutions that work for you and fit into your busy life.
Dresden hiking with his papillons on an early spring day.
Dresden Graff CBCC-KA is a dog trainer and certified behavior consultant. He first got involved in dog training through the sport of dog agility with his first Papillon, Lilly, in 2006. Since then, his life has gone completely to the dogs.
Dresden started his formal dog training journey as an apprentice in early 2012, and has gone on to be the Director of Training at multiple facilities before opening Dog Magic LLC in 2026.
His background ranges from fostering shelter dogs, to training and handling nationally competitive agility dogs, to working with hundreds of behavioral cases. This has given him a wide array of strategies rooted in personal experience.
Dresden knows that no two dogs are exactly the same, nor is every family! He meets each client where they are and helps them create a path forward with care and understanding.
